Holiday or Passover meals can be purchased on Hillel’s website in the month previous to the holiday. The meal card cannot be used to pay for holiday meals.
Kosher Meal Plan
The Kosher Meal Plan is one meal plan choice for students living in residence halls. This plan is for students who desire kosher food at every meal. Students select the Kosher Meal Plan by a) choosing one of University Dining’s meal plans when signing their housing contract, and b) completing this contract and sending it with the payment to Hillel instead of to their Wolverine Access student account. If a student has already paid their Wolverine Access account for a meal plan, the student will receive a rebate on a pro-rated basis, effective the date of the contract. If students on the Kosher Meal Plan wish to have an occasional meal at the residence halls, they can purchase meals with Blue Bucks, available on line here.
The cost per semester is $2199 (the cost of University Dining’s Basic Plan) and must be paid within the first month of each semester. Send the completed contract to: Michigan Hillel, 1429 Hill Street, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104 with a check payable to Michigan Hillel, or scan and email this contract, with your Visa and MasterCard number, to [email protected]
You may make changes in your meal plan choice until two weeks after the start of class: through September 20, 2017 for fall term, and through January 18, 2018 for winter term. Meal plan contracts that are signed in the fall will automatically continue through winter term, unless changed by contract. Meals are not transferable to other people.
