What is SHABBAT AT HILLEL?
WELCOME: Make new connections to community, and to Judaism.
EAT Our delicious Shabbat dinner, prepared fresh in our Kosher kitchen, is FREE for students, but we ask that you RSVP so we can plan appropriately. Sign up here to receive our one-click RSVP email, sent every Thursday.
PRAY We hold 3-4 different services to best serve our community of pluralistic Jewish practice. Services are called an hour before dinner. Sing along, or just take a few moments to yourself in these student-led spaces. Learn about the different services by visiting our student groups page
CONNECT: Schmooze with friends and meet new people, before, during, or after-dinner.
ENJOY: Attend an oneg or an after-dinner learning session with compelling speakers, faculty, and staff. Linger at your table as long as you’d like! Check our Events calendar for details.
Our Shabbat committee consists of current students of a variety of Jewish backgrounds and interests, all working together to make Shabbat great! Questions, concerns, or ideas you want to share? Email the Shabbat Committee or Rav Lisa. More info about the Shabbat Committee
