Our Host at Home program empowers students to host their own Shabbat or holiday experience for themselves and their peers. Hillel is here to support your hosting needs, whether you are a first-time host or an experienced host.
Hillel is here to support you hosting a Shabbat or Holiday meal in your house or apartment on campus.

In order to be approved to host, everyone must complete a host orientation with a Hillel staff member before hosting for the first time, and come by Hillel to pick up a host bag.

All approved hosts will be reimbursed up to $12 pp for Shabbat meals and $15 pp for Rosh Hashanah meals or Passover Seders.

Hosts must submit an event on HELLO for every meal you host at least 3 days in advance of the meal (Tuesday for Shabbat, 3 days before for a holiday meal). We cannot retroactively reimburse hosts for meals that were not registered in advance.
